Day to day comparison of air clarityWhile there are day to day variations in air clarity in the dry season, it never gets as clear & fresh as in the rainy season. Note that I completely cannot make out the TOT building anymore. April 1 and 2 were really quite clear days for the time of year. On the picture you can see the mountain again. (Keep in mind this picture is taken from the other side of town, from inside town you can actually see trees on the mountain again, and Wat Doi Suthep temple on top..) ![]() Monday 2 April 2007 Then, *FORTUNATELY* the rainy season arrived early this year. What an incredible improvement some rain makes, not just in air clarity but also to nature. The Thai tourism industry stopped using the word 'the rainy season' in favour of 'the green season' for good reason!
